Are you am interior designer or artist?

It really depends; when I am doing an interior design project, I am a designer. I am a magician who can transform your imagination into reality. But when I am doing an art show, art gallery, or simply living my daily life, I am an artist, an artist who listens to her own heart and tempo.

What are you outside of a being a designer?

I am a girl with imagination. I am a girl with the hobby of working out, reading, making coffee, and eating cheesecakes. I am a girl who loves to hangout with friends and go to immersive exhibitions. Overall, I am just an ordinary girl!

Where are you from? And how does that affect your design philosophy?

I was born in Vancouver, raised between Vancouver and Taipei. I then moved to New York City for college, in which I attended Pratt Institute. My background is the combination of the Eastern and Western world, so I am better at understanding both world's design.

Growing up being raised in both worlds have made me a better designer in terms of understanding your needs. For example, if you tell me you want a big advertisement board in your kitchen, I got you!

I can understand people's needs without having too many bias and with a global perspective.
