This thesis project focuses on exploring design strategies that promote relaxation and wellbeing in urban environments. Due to the increase in stress and anxiety among city dwellers caused by urbanization, it has become essential to find ways to create spaces that foster a sense of calm. The study investigates the role of interior design in achieving this goal and proposes practical solutions to help people feel more at ease while living or being in busy cities.
The project explores with four key elements: organic elements, lighting, view, and privacy. By examining how these elements contribute to a calming environment, the study proposes practical design solutions to help city residents feel more at ease amidst the bustling cityscape. Through thoughtful integration of nature, lighting, visual connections, and privacy considerations, the design aims to create a sanctuary that counteracts urban stress.
